Officials ID man killed in weekend shooting

Medical examiners on Sunday identified a man shot and killed over the weekend while standing in the side yard of a West Side residence as Mehduty Zenenet-el, 35.
According to a police report, Zenenet-el died before paramedics arrived shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Lombrano Street.
Witnesses told police they saw a man get into a car and tell another man in the driver's seat to “hurry up so that they could get out of the area,” the report said.
No motive for the shooting was immediately apparent, and no one was arrested in the slaying on Sunday.
