Two San Antonio men were arrested and charged late Wednesday night after being found in a vehicle that was reported stolen Sunday.
According to a New Braunfels Police Department, Roger Amaya, 28, and Manuel Guzman, 29, were found in a 2004 Ford pickup truck that had allegedly been stolen on Sunday from the Landmark Lofts on Landa Street.
On Wednesday night, Amaya and Guzman were observed committing an apparent burglary on an unidentified vehicle in the parking lot of the La Quinta Inn on Texas 46 in New Braunfels, said New Braunfels Police Sgt. Mike Penshorn. Afterwards, the suspects got into the Ford pickup, and the police stopped them a short distance from the hotel and took them into custody.
As of Thursday afternoon, both men were being held at the Comal County Jail with bond set at $3,000 each.
