Boerne police seek help finding suspect

Police are seeking the public’s help to find Marlon J. Ordonez, a suspect in the Oct. 12 wounding of a man in an argument that erupted among men drinking beer at a home on Old San Antonio Road in Boerne.
An arrest warrant on a charge of aggravated assault was issued for Ordonez, 25, based on witness information that he pulled the trigger of a .22-caliber rifle, hitting Jorge Jovani Mendez, 33, in the arm, leg and buttocks, said Boerne Police Chief Gary Miller on Tuesday.
He said Ordonez, who is 5 feet tall and weighs 130 pounds, is believed to be staying in Boerne or San Antonio. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 830-816-3194.
