NEW BRAUNFELS — Lisa Regina Whitfield was sentenced to 25 years in prison for what appeared to be an impulse decision to steal four purses at Comal County Courthouse.

Whitfield, 44, pleaded guilty Tuesday to fraudulent use of possession of identifying information related to a Dec. 1, 2010 visit she made to the courthouse.
