Hill Country murder

This is a shame.  That he was killed and that it may have involved drugs.

No matter why it occurred; thank you for your service and rest in peace.

A Kendall County man was found shot to death early Saturday in bed at his remote home, where authorities also reported finding a variety of illegal drugs.

A friend of Ravis Clark, 55, called authorities at 1:21 a.m. Saturday after driving to the home on East Headwaters Ranch Road because he could not reach Clark by phone, Chief Deputy Matt King said Sunday.

“The killing was the likely result of a drug deal gone bad,” said King, who reported that Clark, a military retiree, had been shot multiple times.
