Kids aren't disposable.
Child Protective Services and San Antonio police are questioning the parents of a 1-year-old who was reportedly thrown out of an SUV on the West Side late Saturday night.
The toddler is being treated at University Hospital for injuries including abrasions to his face, said San Antonio Police Department spokesman Officer Matthew Porter.
Around 11:30 p.m., police were called to the intersection of S.W. 30th and Cordelia streets, where witnesses found the injured boy.
The witnesses told police they saw a woman in her late teens driving a white SUV stop in the middle of the road.
