A woman who was hit with a brick in May has died recently, but it is unclear if the man arrested in connection with the assault will face a murder charge, according to police.
Rosalinda Vega, 53, died Thursday at Southeast Baptist Hospital , where she was taken May 31 after a brick struck her in the head while walking in the 3300 block of K Street on the city’s East Side, according to a police report. Witnesses told police they saw a man throw a brick out of a car.
