Possible murder-suicide in New Braunfels
By Eva Ruth Moravec - Express-NewsNEW BRAUNFELS — A teenager returning home Monday morning after spending the night at her grandparents' house found her parents dead in their bedroom in a possible murder-suicide, officials and relatives said.
The girl, 15, and her sisters, 18 and 13, had spent the night with their grandparents after celebrating Easter and came home around 7:20 a.m. Monday to get ready for school, according to relatives and New Braunfels police Capt. John McDonald.
Inside a locked bedroom of their mobile home in the 2800 block of Windgate Drive were the bodies of Elizabeth Trevino, 37, and her husband, Augustine Garcia, 39.
