DPS employee suspected of falsifying license tests

Authorities on Monday afternoon arrested a Texas Department of Public Safety employee suspected of accepting cash in exchange for falsifying commercial driver's license tests.

Henrietta Parra, 50, was being held in Bexar County Jail on two counts of tampering with government records and two counts of bribery. Bail was set at $60,000.

Parra, a driver's license technician, has been suspended with pay pending an internal investigation, said DPS spokeswoman Tela Mange.
