Masked gunman sticks up fruit stand
A gun-wielding bandit held up the employees of a fruit stand, KENS-TV is reporting.
The robbery occurred about 2 p.m. Sunday at the fruit stand in the 3200 block of West Avenue, the station says. The bandit, who hid his identity behind a white bandana, sunglasses and a hat, reached over the counter and scooped up cash from the register.
He’s still on the loose, KENS adds.
