Family barbecue ends in fatal shooting
By Michelle Casady - Express-NewsA family barbecue on the East Side ended Thursday evening when a man was shot and killed.
Lt. Scott Bell said police went to the Palms Apartments in the 3700 block of East Commerce St. about 7 p.m. and found a man dead in his apartment.
Witnesses and family members said the victim, identified as a 42-year-old male, was outside at the barbecue when an argument began.
