Trial continues

Newest continuous sexual abuse of a child case began in Comal County yesterday.  Testimony to continue today.


Testimony begins in child sex abuse case

NEW BRAUNFELS — Testimony began Tuesday morning in the Comal County jury trial of a New Braunfels man accused of repeatedly molesting a young child.

Joel D. James, 47, is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a young child. If convicted on the first-degree felony, James faces a sentence of between 25 years and 99 years or life in prison.
