Playing the race card? I don't think so.

Race, its what everybody now says.

Sorry that the Defendant decided to commit aggravated kidnapping with the intent to sexually assault some one.  Oh and he never touched her because she managed to escape.

Do you think perhaps it might have been his other attempts as well in the past to sexually molest and/or assault women including inappropriate sexual incidents with female guards at the Comal County Jail played into the jury's sentencing decision?

Good job Jennifer and Jenny.


Convicted kidnapper's family claims race figured into 60 year sentence

NEW BRAUNFELS — Jurors in a Comal County felony trial on Thursday sentenced a Garden Ridge man to 60 years in prison for aggravated kidnapping in a case in which the victim testified the man never touched her.

“I think it is appropriate,” said Jennifer Tharp, Comal County criminal district attorney. “You have an adult who has a history of violence that has been escalating and he’s going out there and sexually attacking complete strangers.
