Man charged with sexual assault of a child

Robert Parton, who was arrested Friday on felony warrants for
sexual assault of a child, compelling prostitution and trafficking,
remained in the Bexar County Jail on Saturday without bail.
According to the arrest warrant affidavit, Parton supplied a 16-year-old girl with crack cocaine in exchange for personal sexual favors during four months in 2011.
The girl told police Parton also advertised her as a prostitute on the website backpage.com and kept the money she made. She referred to Parton as her boyfriend in interviews with police.
