Police: Woman resists arrest after hitting tree
A New Braunfels woman taking an early-morning ride Wednesday in Landa Park was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated after she smashed her vehicle into a tree.
“About 12:26 a.m., officers were dispatched out to the Landa Park area for a report of a crash involving a motor vehicle and a tree,” New Braunfels Police Lt. John McDonald said. “Officers found the vehicle, a Ford Taurus, which had extensive damage to the front and to the undercarriage.
