Sorry, doesn't do any good at this point

Sorry, but I'd think that the shot he fired under his chin, which exited through the top of his skull, would have probably preceded the shot to the chest fired by the police, even if by a millisecond.

Or they were simultaneous.

Or he fired as an involuntary action when he was hit by the police bullets.

Whatever, he's dead.  Sorry, I know its important to the family.

I also think we need to re-examine the way we treat with folks with mental issues.

Man shot by police, himself
Autopsy shows five wounds, one from suspect's own gun.

A troubled man shot by police alongside Interstate 10 in December because he allegedly pointed a gun at officers also suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound, an autopsy report from the Bexar County medical examiner's office reveals.

The report shows that Tavan Cullum, 31, was hit five times, and two of those shots — including the one by his own hand — were potentially fatal.

For Cullum's family, the autopsy raises questions about the police version of what occurred at the moment two San Antonio and two Boerne officers fired their weapons Dec. 2 to end a confrontation that began hours earlier at the family's North Side home.
