Man charged with child injury in tongue pulling
By Eva Ruth Moravec - Express-NewsWhen a teenager stuck his tongue out at his mother's boyfriend while the couple argued last week, the man grabbed the boy's tongue and pulled it, injuring him, according to San Antonio police.
Chadwick Terrell Benoit, 38, was still in Bexar County Jail on Monday, charged with injury to a child. A judge set bail at $5,000.
Officer Matthew Porter, a spokesman for the police department, wouldn't say where the alleged incident took place Friday evening. The boy, 12, stood in between the couple as they argued, Porter said, and stuck out his tongue at Benoit.
