Kerrville woman kidnapped, freed at San Antonio motel
By Guillermo X. Garcia - Express-NewsA man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend in Kerrville and forcing her to accompany him to a San Antonio motel.
Police said Antonio Rios, 40, forced his 45-year-old ex out of her apartment in Kerrville early Wednesday and drove her to a West Side motel. While there, the woman used her cell phone to alert police to her location.
Rios was charged with aggravated kidnapping and ordered held at Bexar County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail.
