A convicted sex offender labeled as a high risk by the Texas Department of Public Safety has been jailed here on allegations he sexually assaulted two women in separate North Side incidents in November and December.
Catlin Eric Wilkerson, 25, was charged last week and booked into Bexar County Jail on one count of burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit a felony. A judge set bail at $250,000. San Antonio police said a warrant was issued Monday in connection with a sexual assault, but bail on that charge had not yet been set.
Wilkerson, a registered sex offender, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman after covering her mouth with his hand and dragging her behind the Episcopal Church of Reconciliation, in the 8900 block of Starcrest Drive, on Nov. 22, an arrest warrant affidavit states.
