At least this one was an abandoned home and no one occupying it. of course there was still the danger that it could have spread.
Arson is suspected in a fire that gutted an abandoned building south of downtown early Saturday morning, fire officials said.
No one was injured in the 2:15 a.m. blaze in the 300 block of South Presa Street, but the building was razed, said acting fire shift commander Brooke Hildreth.
She said no one was in the building, a home built in 1903, when firefighters arrived to find the structure fully engulfed in flames.
