A German man who sold his girlfriend to his neighbour as a sex slave for beer has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Friedbert B. (60) paid money for sex with his neighbour's girlfriend.
Kai S. (39) and girlfriend Sandra F. (32) met over ten years ago, and moved into a small home together in Cronberg (population 1,600) in the Hessen region of Germany. The couple had three kids together but instead of working to support his growing family, Kai spent his time getting drunk and beating his wife and children.
Their neighbour, Friedbert B. (60), told the court: “The woman should be happy she is still alive. He beat her brutally, she would scream so much that I had to call the police many times.”
But Sandra was also ‘sold’ to the same neighbour. The woman told the judge that for three weeks, she first would sleep with Friedbert B. and then with her boyfriend.
She whispered her testimony, explaining: “When I tried to refuse the first time, Kai hit me. I got undressed because I was scared. After that, I did not try to fight.”

Friedbert B. paid Kai S. €10 to €20 per day. Kai would use the money to buy a case of beer. It was only when Kai tried to choke her and was taken away by the police that Sandra left him, taking their children with her.
The court sentenced Kai S. to three years in jail and ordered him to take part in a rehab program to treat his alcoholism. The neighbour, Friedbert B., was sentenced to two years on probation and must pay the victim €2,000. Sandra has moved to Thuringen with her children.
