Man could face the music in theft
By Robert Kolarik - Express-NewsA New Braunfels man is being sought in connection with the theft of $28,000 worth of musical instruments and equipment from in front of a hotel, KGNB Radio is reported.
Maurice Chad Paladino, 42, is suspected in the June 15 theft of a U-Haul trailer full of musical gear from in front of the Baymont Inn and Suites in the 900 block of I-35 North in New Braunfels, the station says.
Danielle Reed and her country music band had just played at the River Road Ice House, and the truck pulling the trailer had parked outside the hotel about 2:30 a.m., KGNB says. When the truck’s owner came out of the hotel about 14:40 a.m., he saw the trailer was missing and called 911.
