San Antonio police on Saturday night arrested a man accused of stealing from an elderly woman who mentors troubled youth.

Servando Patino Jr., 23, is set to be booked in Bexar County Jail on one count of theft of the elderly, from $1,500 to $20,000. A judge set bail at $15,000.

Patino is accused of stealing $1,200 worth of jewelry and a $2,000-vacuum from Ramona Ramos, 70, who had taken Patino into her home in June and allowed him to stay there after he told her he didn't get along with his stepfather.
