But what does "they escorted the girl into the Boy's Athletic Room" mean?

Did she go there voluntarily?  If so, why?

BROWNSVILLE — Two Rio Grande Valley high school students were arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in the boys' locker room, Pharr police said Wednesday.

Police have charged Adrian Duran, 17, and a 16-year-old juvenile male with sexual assault.

Authorities said the assault occurred about 2 p.m. Friday at Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North High School, after they escorted the girl into the Boy's Athletic Room.
