Pair arrested after search yields $400,000 worth of cocaine
By Michelle Casady - Express-NewsA man who was on parole for possession of narcotics was arrested Wednesday after officers found more than $400,000 worth of cocaine inside his Hortencia Avenue home.
Detective Louis Antu, spokesman for the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, said a search warrant was served on the West Side home Friday morning where Enrique Suarez, 32, lived with his girlfriend, 28-year-old Beatrice Corales. Inside, deputies found the 10 ounces of cocaine, three ounces of marijuana and $2,000 in cash.
Antu said deputies also seized three motorcycles, three handguns and some electronics that officials suspect were purchased with money he earned selling narcotics.
