Man accused of stealing deodorant at knifepoint arrested

Edward Fernandez, 50, was held on an aggravated robbery charge. Bail was set $50,000.
According to a San Antonio Police Department report, Fernandez took the deodorant — four different brands of it — and left without paying around 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening. When pursued by store employees, Fernandez pulled out a knife and said, “It ain't worth your life,” the report said. He then fled on a red bicycle, the report said.
