This morning my good friend and fellow co-worker, Jennifer Tharp will take the oath of office to become the new Comal County Criminal District Attorney. I predict her term will be very successful.
Of some note, as well, is that she will be Comal County's first female Criminal District Attorney.
Man o' Law , while not yet decrepit, though some may argue that point, comes from an era where women were generally the secretaries and not the professionals, so I am happy to note that the glass ceiling has had another chunk knocked out of it.
I also would like you to take note that all of the contiguous counties along I-35 from San Antonio to Austin, Bexar, Guadalupe, Comal, Hayes and Travis counties, now all have women District Attorneys.
