Kerrville man accused of forging checks
By Zeke MacCormack - Express-News

A Kerrville man stands accused of abusing his authority as a social club board's president by forging three checks on the nonprofit center's account with a face value of $920.

Todd Hardee, 50, resigned his position of 10 months on the Doyle School Community Center board in September amid questions about its finances, which remain under investigation by Kerrville police.

The teacher's aide in Kerrville schools was indicted on three forgery charges Monday, jailed Wednesday, and released on $3,000 bail Thursday.
