Mother and daughter found guilty of hiring hitman

A NSW mother and daughter accused of hiring a hitman to kill the daughter's husband have been found guilty of murder in the Supreme Court.

Helen Ryan, 51, and her mother Coralie Coulter, 71, were today found guilty by a NSW Supreme Court jury of murdering grazier Jeffrey Ryan after they hired a hitman for $30,000.

Mr Ryan was shot and killed in 2009.
A jury of 11 found the mother and daughter guilty, drawing gasps and tears of relief from Jeffrey Ryan's family.
