Feit awaiting his fate

This won't go well for him.

Ex-camp cook faces sex charge in Kerr County
By Zeke MacCormack - Express-News

A former cook at a therapeutic wilderness camp for troubled boys in Kerr County was in the Kerr County Jail Monday on $100,000 bail, accused of indecency with a 14-year-old camper.

Junction resident Helmut R. Feit, 61, was fired from the Pathways Three H Youth Ranch in Mountain Home after staff found evidence of an improper relationship with the boy and contacted authorities, said camp administrator Skeet Wilbanks.

“It's a devastating incident for everybody,” said Wilbanks, who said Feit was employed for about 2½ years at the camp for boys ages 13 to 17, until being fired weeks ago.
