A man recently released from jail after being charged with sexual assault of a child was rearrested early Saturday, accused of kidnapping, beating and threatening to sexually assault his girlfriend's friend, officials said.

Tyron Duckworth, 27, was back in the Bexar County Jail on an aggravated kidnapping charge, one count of attempted sexual assault and four counts of assault with bodily injury. His bail totaled $112,800.

Duckworth is accused of kidnapping his girlfriend's friend outside a North Side nightclub around 2:30 a.m. on July 31. He forced them into his vehicle, took them to his home, beat them and threatened to sexually assault the friend, with his young daughter present at one point, an arrest warrant affidavit states. The friend escaped after Duckworth's girlfriend intervened, police said.
