NEW BRAUNFELS — A San Antonio man has been ticketed in the death of the wild turkey that had been making its home in Landa Park since late summer and had become a favorite attraction with park visitors.
Comal County Game Warden Brent Satsky said the turkey died after the man grabbed it by the neck, shook it and tossed it into the park’s Wading Pool.
