Killeen police searching for abducted boy

Killeen Police said they are searching for an 8-year-old boy who was last seen Thursday morning at his school, Reeses Creek Elementary School.
Police say James Dupree Lynch Jr. has long hair he wears in an afro and also wears glasses; he is approximately 3’6” tall and weighs approximately 50 pounds. James was last seen wearing dark gray sweat pants with a thin red line down the side of the pants and a long sleeved red shirt.
Police were called when the father of the child noticed the boy was gone when to pick up the boy at the Boys and Girls Club on Lions Gate Road. In a surveillance video, the boy was seen leaving the school at 400 W. Stan Schlueter Loop with two family members, police said.
Police ask that anyone with information on the abduction to call Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or call the Killeen Police Department at 501-8830.
