Well, its about time



Appeals court will allow e-mail appeals in death penalty cases

Yeah, I am an assistant district attorney, but you know what? I'm glad the court finally decided after the Michael Richard fiasco to accept e-mail filings of emergency appeals in death cases. No disrespect indended Judge Keller, it is the 21st century afterall and your behavior was embarrasing to Texas jurisprudence.


AUSTIN — The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals decided Tuesday to allow emergency e-mail appeals in death penalty cases, rather than requiring attorneys to physically file the paperwork at the court.
