Peek a boo, I see you!


Hey, believe it or not there are things, you'd rather not have in a jail, that are found in the most unlikely and unsavory places imaginable.



Drugs and weapons, found on, or in, even non-violent offenders.

Looking at the x-ray images above, on the left is a hack-saw blade and a paper clip, on the right are handcuff keys.

Imagine that.


Lawsuit contests strip searches of Bexar jail prisoners

Is it unconstitutional for Bexar County guards to strip-search every prisoner admitted to the jail, regardless of whether they have a criminal record or are deemed likely to be hiding drugs, weapons or other contraband?
That question could be answered by a recently filed federal lawsuit alleging that the Sheriff's Office's blanket policy, defended by Bexar County officials as a means of promoting safety, violates the Fourth Amendment prohibition against unreasonable searches and seizures.
