Woman gets probation for stealing more than $20,000 from tenants
A 64-year-old Kerrville woman received 10 years probation this week after pleading guilty to misapplying more than $20,000 as a manager of two mobile home parks in Kerrville.
In a court judgment filed this week, Judge Stephen B. Ables sentenced Lou Ann Chamberlain to probation, fined her $1,000 and ordered she pay $21,685 in restitution to the Austin man who owned the mobile home parks.
