Cowboys owner Jones: QB Romo will get new deal soon

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is confident a new contract for Tony Romo will be brokered soon and that the quarterback will respond to the extension with superior play.
“He's not going to be paid to be a bus driver,” Jones said Tuesday.
Speaking at the NFL owners meetings in Phoenix, Jones also touched on a number of other subjects, including the future of beleaguered right tackle Doug Free.
