Edison teacher under arrest, out of a job

An Edison High School teacher has been arrested after being accused of an improper relationship with an 18-year-old student.
Juan Carlos Ramos was arrested Monday after being accused of a relationship with the female student and has resigned, the San Antonio Independent School District told local media. He'd worked at SAISD since August 2008, KSAT-TV said.
“This is a very serious allegation, and we want parents to know that the safety and well-being of our students is paramount,” the district said in a statement.
