A New Braunfels teen was found stabbed late Monday night near South Hickory Ave.New Braunfels Police found Jeremy Downes, 17, stabbed several times as they were responding to a disturbance call on the 1200 West block of San Antonio Street.
According to the NBPD, local citizens flagged the officers down and alerted them to Downes.
Det. Mike Penshorn said the suspect is 14 years old and was taken into custody by juvenile authorities. Downes was airlifted to University Hospital in San Antonio and was in critical condition as of Tuesday evening.
