Live Oak police chased down a suspected drunken driver late Saturday who apparently slammed his vehicle into a motorcyclist and sped off with the cycle still wedged into its front bumper.
San Antonio police said the driver was caught when he crashed his Honda Accord into another vehicle on the south access road to Interstate 35 near O'Connor Road. The impact of that collision dislodged the cycle from the Honda and left both vehicles wrecked.
The suspected drunk driver was said to have attempted to run from the scene on foot but was apprehended by Live Oak police.
