In the end it is better than no justice at all, I guess.
Of course, there will be the ultimate higher authority he will have to answer to in a very short while, given his age.
UPDATE:
While convicted by the court he was apparently freed due to his age. So, there really was no justice after all was there? They're all just a bunch of old dead Jews from a long time ago anyway. Right?
Demjanjuk convicted over Nazi camp deaths
By DAVID RISING, Associated PressMUNICH (AP) — Retired U.S. autoworker John Demjanjuk was convicted of thousands of counts of acting as an accessory to murder at a Nazi death camp and sentenced on Thursday to five years in prison — closing one chapter in a decades-long legal battle.
Demjanjuk was found guilty of 28,060 counts of accessory to murder, one for each person who died during the time he was ruled to have been a guard at the Sobibor camp in Nazi-occupied Poland.
Presiding Judge Ralph Alt said the 91-year-old was a piece of the Nazis' "machinery of destruction."
