A wanted felon was arrested this morning with a loaded gun on his lap after clogged traffic ended a slow-speed chase on the Northeast Side.
The chase began when a patrol officer recognized Andre Taylor, 43, and tried to pull him over, but Taylor kept going, police Sgt. Ramiro Juarez said.
“He's a real good officer. Instead of eating breakfast, he was out trying to make an arrest,” Juarez said. “He had heard a few days back that this guy was (accused of) transporting meth.”
