Two killed when car crashes into house, ignites blaze

Two people were found dead early Sunday after a car crashed into a Northwest Side home and set off a fire that apparently was fueled by leaking natural gas.
The crash occurred a few blocks north of Ingram Park Mall in the 4200 block of Timberhill Drive around 2:30 a.m., said Matthew Porter, San Antonio Police Department spokesman.
Bodies of the vehicle's driver and an occupant of the home were found in the charred rubble, officials said. Video of the still-burning crash scene indicated a natural gas line in the house had ruptured.
