Man accused in fatal hit-and-run
San Antonio police arrested a 22-year-old man suspected in a hit-and-run crash that caused the first traffic fatality of the year.
Robert Ray Arredondo was held in Bexar County Jail on $15,000 bond. He faced one count of failure to stop and render aid – death.
Arredondo was believed to have driven a U-Haul truck that collided with a Geo Prism at the intersection of Barclay Street and Castroville Road. Michael David Tristan, 55, drove the Prism and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at 12 a.m. Friday, officials said.
