Dying for a beer
Ahh, Yes! the hot weather is coming, Fiesta is near, and now is the time to kill for a beer.
What a pathetic and stupid thing to kill someone for.
My heart goesa out to the families of the victims.
Two men stabbed, one seriously Michelle Mondo Express-News
A fight over beer could have been the reason two men were stabbed Saturday night, police said.
The stabbing occurred at about 9:30 p.m. in the parking lot of an automotive shop in the 4800 block of Rittiman Road.
San Antonio Police Sgt. John Carey said witnesses told police two men, who may work at the shop, were drinking beer in the parking lot when another man pulled up and asked for some beer. The witness said because no one knew this man they declined to give him a beverage.
Carey said there was a scuffle, and both men ran into the shop after being stabbed. The 41-year-old man did not suffer life-threatening wounds. However, the 31-year-old man was stabbed near his heart and his condition was more precarious, Carey said.
Both men were taken to Brooke Army Medical Center.
Police had a good description of the suspect and were searching the area, Carey said.
