Police arrested a Buffalo woman who wasn’t sure if she was still in New York state and charged her with aggravated driving while intoxicated and making an unsafe turn early Sunday morning.
Latoya C. Owens, 26, of 32 Lonsdale Road, lower apartment, was pulled over about 4:30 a.m. after cutting off another vehicle, forcing it to stop in the middle of the intersection of Main and Young streets, according to police reports.
When asked where she was going, Owens told the officer she was headed to Buffalo and was coming from Buffalo. Advised that she was in Tonawanda, Owens said, “Am I still in New York state? I think I’m lost.”
Owens submitted to a Datamaster test, which showed her blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent, the report states. Owens was held for court.
