Boy Sets Home On Fire As Revenge On Grandmother
MyFoxNY.com -- Police believe that a fire inside an apartment in Bushwick, Brooklyn was intentionally set by a five-year-old boy.
Cops say Jay Morales was angry at his grandmother on Monday afternoon for not letting him play in a nearby park. The boy suffered third-degree burns to 70 percent of his body. Nancy Herrera, 63, made it out with minor injuries.
Witnesses tell Fox 5 that Herrera desperately tried to get to her grandson. The boy is being treated at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Well Cornell.
