Man bites dog

Sorry, but we probably have three serial killers or, at the least, three problem adults on our hands now. Good luck on the system trying to change these kids, especially as they seem to have no remorse for their actions.

Doesn't mean we shouldn't try but I am not optimistic.

Three confess to torturing, killing dog

A Pomeranian puppy was beaten, abused and mutilated. According to the Guadalupe County attorney, Elizabeth Murray-Kolb, it was the work of three kids.

The attorney says all three confessed to the crime, but they showed no remorse for their actions, which is all the more reason they’ll be kept under close watch.

“This poor little animal had almost every bone in its face and body broken,” Murray-Kolb said.
Toby was found beaten, bloodied and with his head severed. Murray-Kolb calls it the worst case of animal cruelty she has ever seen.

Behind the cruel crime was a 12-year-old, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old.

“Those are symptoms, and they’re screaming at us, saying something’s got to be done with me,” Murray-Kolb said.

Now, they will be closely monitored. All were sentenced to complete up to a year stint in psychiatric therapy. Then they’ll be kept under watch by the county until they’re 18.

“They will be under intensive supervision probation,” Murray-Kolb said.

Each kid will receive a copy of the crime report to serve as a reminder of the act they committed.
