Four years later, killing still unsolved
Express-News

Four years of investigation and an $11,000 reward offer haven't led to any solid leads in the bludgeoning death of Beth Hicks, a Kendall County probation officer.

Hicks, 36, was killed leaving her home outside Boerne for her job June 30, 2004. Fresh pry marks were found on the door to her home, but there was no sign of a struggle and nothing was reported missing.

‘We're still checking leads when they come in, but I'd say we haven't had anything new or fruitful in the last six months,' sheriff's Lt. Louis Martinez said.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call (830) 816-2324.
