Young 'superhero' gets bedroom to match

Daniel Adair is a 6-year-old who has undergone three surgeries to treat a heart condition he was born with, but that hasn't kept him from dreaming of being a cowboy or of superheroes.
So a group of local volunteers with the nonprofit Wish Connection raised enough money in donations to have Daniel experience his dream this weekend — visiting Candlelight Ranch in the Hill Country, where he enjoyed dinner and music around a campfire with several cowboys and cowgirls from the surrounding area.
Daniel and his family also got to ride a steam train in Austin on Sunday before returning home to find that the volunteers also had redecorated his room with a superhero theme. Iron Man and various characters from Marvel Comics adorn the walls of the room, with new wood floors and furniture that was donated by various businesses.
